Prashanti Tipirneni Honoured for Baahubali at The Fashion Awards 2017

The Fashion Awards at JLN Stadium, New Delhi on June 17th-18th. Prashanti Tipirneni who is noted for her work on the epic movie Baahubali: The Beginning and the Conclusion who made her debut in 2010 with the movie Vedam has now become an iconic personality. She was honoured as part of ‘The Fashion Awards’, the new face of the annually held JD Annual Design Awards.

Baahubali grew larger than what all of us had envisioned. “The team of Baahubali congratulates the Jediians for all the success they have achieved in the design Industry. It makes us immensely proud to see the students designers grow and putting designs which are not less than professional designers,” says Prashanti.

Speaking about the highly successful event, Mr. R.C. Dalal, Executive Director, JD Institute of Fashion Technology said, “The idea behind the theme The Differents is to take the road not taken. I am elated to see some serious potential and responsibility among my student designers. In all, this will see a new set of futuristic designers who will take the fashion fraternity to the next level. It is an opportunity for the students to work with leading brands in Indian and abroad.”

In order to inspire the budding designers and give them a chance to associate with the leaders of the industry, the awards are organised every year. The highly prestigious awards promote excellence in design by offering support to future talent and recognising their potential to make an exceptional contribution to the fashion industry. In the past, the awards have acted as a platform to bring together young and fresh talent face-to-face with the masters of the fashion and design industry.
