Benton County Sunshine School in Bentonville, Ark., is holding a press conference and open house to celebrate the addition of Hatch® research-based education technology solutions for early learners to its special needs preschool classrooms. Local area mayors and community leaders will show their support of the school?s achievement in bringing instructional technology into its classrooms that is proven to positively affect student outcomes by building critical skills for kindergarten readiness as well as a strong educational foundation.
Benton County Sunshine School also will host an open house to showcase the new Hatch technology to parents, donors, and area pediatricians, to demonstrate how the school is supporting its youngest learners with special needs.
Research shows the importance of building critical math and literacy skills during foundational years in order to ensure future success in academics and beyond. Concurrently, the introduction of innovative technology into the classroom has been shown to increase student engagement. With the addition of Hatch technology solutions, Benton County Sunshine School is providing its special needs students with age-appropriate technology and research-based tools proven effective in accelerating kindergarten readiness.
Greg Parker, president of Benton County Sunshine School board of directors, will host the press
conference. Rainy Chewning, early learning technology consultant from Hatch, will demonstrate the new classroom technology.
